PAMEC conducts the two aviation courses simultaneously comprising of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering licence Course approved by DGCA, New Delhi, and three years B.Sc (Hons) in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering recognized by University Grant Commission, New Delhi and affiliated to Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University, Bathinda. Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Course is one of the highly rewarding technical courses with ample job opportunities. It is a three years regular license course. PAMEC is an only Institute in India, which is also offering, a three years B.Sc (Hons) Course in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering recognized by University Grant Commission, New Delhi and affiliated to Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University, Bathinda along with AME Licence course.
Both the courses are conducted concurrently with the syllabus, approved by the Director General of Civil Aviation, New Delhi and University Grant Commission, New Delhi respectively. The syllabus for both the courses is same except some additional subjects of B.Sc. (Hons) in AME.
The PAMEC entered into contract with Patiala Aviation Club, Patiala, which is an approved AMO for practical training of students in live working aircraft environment under the provision of CAR 147 (Basic). This contracted AMO is approved by the DGCA under provisions of CAR-M, Subpart F and CAR-M, Subpart G.
The AMO has following aircrafts and facilities to impart the training:

- CESSNA172R,
- CESSNA 172S,
- TECNAM P2006T,
- Approved Practical Assessor,
- Approved Practical Instructor,
- Adequate training personnel,
- Related workshops/ hangar.
